Adult Cat Wellness

We offer a comprehensive wellness package for adult cats and kittens over 6 months of age. While we recommend these services be done once a year for all cats, your pet’s package will be catered to his/her specific needs.

Our adult feline package includes:

  • Physical exam
  • Feline distemper and upper respiratory disease
  • Rabies vaccine
  • Intestinal parasite check

Based on your cat’s risks we may suggest a leukemia vaccine or recommend an in-house blood test for feline leukemia, immunodeficiency virus (feline aids) and heartworms.

Good dental hygiene is also a very important part of your pet’s health and should be a part of every pet’s wellness routine at the first signs of plaque, which generally starts by age 2 or 3 years-old. Dental cleanings are done under general anesthesia using an ultrasonic prophy scaler followed by a fluoride polish. We take anesthetic precautions by doing pre-operative blood work and placing your pet on IV fluids during the procedure. Below is an example of the before and after dental procedures.
