Adult Dog Wellness

We offer a comprehensive wellness package for adult dogs and puppies over 6 months of age. While we recommend these services be done once a year for all dogs, your pet’s package will be catered to his/her specific needs.

Our adult canine package includes:

  • Physical exam
  • Distemper and parvovirus vaccines
  • Rabies vaccine
  • Heartworm test
  • Intestinal parasite test

For high risk dogs we also have bordetella (kennel cough) and canine influenza vaccines available. Heartworm prevention is recommended for all pets, even those that live indoors. We offer a variety of preventives and can help you decide which is best for your pet.

Good dental hygiene is also a very important part of your pet’s health and should be a part of every pet’s wellness routine before you even notice the first signs of plaque. Dental cleanings are recommended for pets with tartar build-up and are done under general anesthesia using an ultrasonic scaler followed by a fluoride polish. We take anesthetic precautions by doing pre-operative blood work and placing your pet on IV fluids during the procedure. Below is an example of the before and after dental procedures.
