Exotic Pets

Not many animal hospitals in San Antonio will examine and treat ferrets, guinea pigs, and rabbits. For these species we provide basic services including: teeth trimming for your rabbit, wellness and sick patient care, bathing and nail trims for rabbits and guinea pigs.

Ferret distemper vaccine, ferret rabies vaccine and Suprelorin^® F injections for adrenal disease are part of the routine wellness care we provide for ferrets. We also carry flea medications that are safe for both rabbits and ferrets.

Diagnostic and wellness blood work is available for all these species through our exotic laboratory. Need someone to baby sit while you go on vacation? We can do that for you!  You may bring your pet’s enclosure, hay and food for overnight boarding care.
